That's our motto to you and to each of us alike. Whether you are a member, attender or visitor we are so glad you stopped by and even more excited when you come in person to Lakewood. Welcome home!
We’re a fellowship of broken sinners, centered around the forgiveness, redemption, and freedom found in Christ. From worship, to missions, to small groups, to kids ministry... we’re all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us Sundays or Wednesdays as we worship our Savior, grow closer in fellowship, and dive deeper into the infinite riches found in the knowledge of Christ from His Word.

Latest Sermon
Many sermons have been preached from the greatest sermon ever preached. We also know that this sermon was preached by the greatest Preacher who ever lived. Many praise these teachings of Jesus as the most ethical in the New Testament, and even non-believers have spoken highly of them. Gandhi once said the Sermon on the Mount “touched his heart” and that “all Christians should imitate Christ’s teachings” in Matthew 5, 6, and 7 as “the essential truths of the Christian faith.” Yet, as always is the case, context is very important, and the intended audience is central to our understanding. Join us as we study the Sermon on the Mount.
