Food Pantry

The LOAF Food Pantry Ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church is committed to addressing the physical needs of individuals and families within our community by providing access to nutritious food and essential grocery items. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthy meals and that by meeting this basic need, we can extend the love and compassion of Christ to those facing challenging circumstances. Whether you are in need of assistance or looking to contribute, we are here to serve and support you.
Our food pantry is open on Thursdays from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm EST.
Pull around to the back of the church building under the awning and someone will assist you.
You must be a Russell County, Alabama resident to be eligible for assistance.

We are CLOSED on the 5th Thursday of the month.

"For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink." - Matthew 25:35

Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet Ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church is dedicated to providing clothing assistance to those in need within our community. We believe that meeting the basic needs of individuals and families is an expression of God's love and care. Whether you are looking to donate gently used clothing or seeking assistance, we are here to serve and support you.
We welcome donations of clean, gently used clothing items for all ages and sizes. You can drop off your donations at the church office during office hours. We kindly ask that you ensure the clothes are in good condition and free from any tears or stains. Your generosity allows us to continue helping those in need.

Our Clothes Closet is open from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST every Thursday that the Food Pantry is open.
The clothes closet is CLOSED on the 5th Thursday of the month.

"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?" - James 2:15-16
