Jacob Baker
Chairman
Jacob is married to Jordan, our Lead Pastor's daughter. He owns his own business of inflatable rentals. Jacob serves in AWANA and teaches a boys Bible Fellowship Class.
Heath Owens
Co-Chairman
Heath is married to Amanda and they have two children, Corbin and Kennedy. He works at TSYS. Heath serves with the AWANA program and co-teaches a Bible Fellowship Class.
Garrett Kee
Secretary
Garrett graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management & then attended Columbus State University where he served as a graduate assistant for the softball team. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in Public Administration. Garrett currently works for Global Payments in Columbus, and is an avid fan of all Georgia sports teams!
Kenny Harper
Kenny is married to Julie and they have three grown children. Both have been members since 2022. Kenny is currently serving as the Chairman for the LBC Men’s Ministry. He served in the army and is currently a contractor at fort Moore. Kenny is originally from Columbus, OH.
Billy Greene
Billy married Cathy “Benton” Greene at West Side Baptist Church in 1968. They have one son, daughter-in-law, and one adult grandson. He was born and raised in Phenix City. Billy accepted Jesus as his savior at age of thirteen. He is retired from working at Bellsouth.
Josh Henderson
Josh has been married to Jill for almost 22 years, and they have 3 boys; Ethan, Owen & Deacon. He works in the Office of Information Technology at Auburn University, and until this year has spent most springs & summers coaching his boys in Phenix City Youth Baseball. Now, he plays dad in the stands at Glenwood games. He also serves as one of the "Game Boys" in the student ministry.
Steve Argo
Bill Norris
Steve and his wife Margie have been members of Lakewood for over 30 years. He loves hunting and fishing.
Garrett Wilkinson
Garrett is married to Tori, and they have two children, Legend and Kinley. Garrett serves in the Army at Fort Benning and has been there for the last eight years. Tori works as a k neurology nurse at Piedmont Regional Hospital. Garrett and Tori are from Mississippi originally and have been members at Lakewood since 2022. Lakewood has been a huge part of their lives, where each of their personal walks with Jesus Christ has grown exponentially.
Bill is married to Merita and they have 2 daughters Beth Hedges (Gabe) and Amanda Owens (Heath), along with 4 grandchildren. Bill is a lifelong member of Lakewood. Merita became a member in 1975. Bill and Merita are both lifetime residents of Phenix City, AL. Bill is retired from Alabama Power Co.
Gary Bradshaw
Gary is married to Donna and they have one son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gary works part-time for Sod Solutions Inc. as a territory manager. He sings in the Alleluia Choir.
Chris Orr
Chris is married to Melissa and they have one adult child, Chelsea. He is from Eufaula, AL. Chris works as a buyer for Johns Manville in Phenix City. He also served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.
Jerry Barbaree
Jerry is married to Sheila & they have two grown children, Paige & Shane. Jerry is retired from being the HR Director at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. He has been a member at Lakewood for 13 years. You will see Jerry around the church campus driving the golf cart!
