Baptism, ordained by Jesus, symbolizes a believer’s faith and new life in Him. It is a public declaration of commitment to Christ, symbolizing death to sin and resurrection to new life. Immersion represents identification with Christ’s burial and resurrection. It’s a vital step of obedience, marking entrance into God’s family and the church. Through baptism, we declare our faith in Jesus, embracing His lordship and beginning a journey of discipleship.
