Welcome to our vibrant and engaging Children's Ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church! We are passionate about nurturing the faith of our youngest members and providing a safe, fun, and loving environment where they can grow in their relationship with God and others. We invite you to explore the various programs, check-in and check-out procedures, and annual events we offer for children of all ages.
Goals of the Children's Ministry at Lakewood
- Lead Children to Christ
Guide children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. - Deepen Their Faith
Foster a growing relationship with Christ, helping children recognize God's provision and presence in their lives. - Cultivate a Love for God's Word
Instill a hunger for the Bible, encouraging children to memorize scripture and apply it to their lives in obedience. - Teach the Power of Prayer
Encourage children to pray, knowing that God is always listening and available. - Nurture a Love for the Church
Promote a deep appreciation for the Church, emphasizing its role as the Body of Christ. - Introduce Missions
Educate children about missions and the vital role missionaries play around the world.
Nursery & Preschool Classes Available
Our ministry team cares for children ages 6 weeks to K4 Sundays mornings and Wednesday evenings. Our youngest LBC Kidz enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, and playground time.
