Josh is from Millport, a small town in West Alabama. He is married to his wonderful wife Jeani, who grew up in Opelika. They have three sons: Jax, Zion, and Ace. Josh surrendered to the call to ministry during the summer of 2013 while serving on the Summer Staff at Shocco Springs. That calling was confirmed and commissioned through his ordination at his home church, Friendship Baptist Church, in February of 2014. The Lord has been faithful and continued to confirm this calling in his life as he has been called to serve as a Student Pastor in Alabama and Mississippi over the last ten years. Josh enjoys spending time with his family. Most of his time is spent playing with and chasing his three boys around, but when he gets some time to himself, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and cheering on the Tide. His ministry philosophy is relational ministry. He believes in cultivating relationships that earn him the trust and opportunity to share the gospel with those he comes in contact with.
