Welcome to the Women's Ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church, where we celebrate sisterhood, faith, and community. We aim to unite women of all ages and seasons of life for encouragement, outreach, Christian growth, and fellowship. Through our gatherings and events, we seek to strengthen our relationship with God and with one another. 

Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)

The LBC women are affiliated with the SBC’s Woman’s Missionary Union. The WMU facilitates the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

Our Women's Mission Union (WMU) group meets on the second floor of the South Building on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30am ET. This group takes on many mission-minded activities to help our community.
This is a second WMU group that meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30pm ET at member's homes. This group also does many projects related to local, state & national missions.
